It’s become almost impossible to exist. Everything hurts, you feel like a ton of bricks and simply living is a herculean act.

To top that off, nothing about who you are seems right or acceptable to anyone anymore. When you engage with people it takes everything in you to keep from falling apart. How can you even be around people if their eyes are disapproving when they look at you? What’s the point of connecting if you feel unwanted, not loved, and misunderstood? Sometimes it’s just easier to be alone. To shut off your phone. To shut off life and sleep the day away.

I help millennials find another way. To come to understand, accept, and transform all the agony they’ve been experiencing into a life worthy of living. A life that’s true and loving of the person deep inside, flaws, cracks and all.

If you’re experiencing suicidal thoughts, I urge you to let someone know. You don’t have to carry this weight alone. I’d love to hear more about what you’re going through and welcome you to call or schedule a time to talk. You might even consider reaching out to someone anonymously and get a response right away by calling 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or texting HOME to 741741.

In the end, I want you to know that you aren’t broken.

Your body hurts. Your mind is clouded. And you’re questioning your very existence. But you aren’t broken.

Depression is not who you are. Depression is what is happening to you. And THAT we can change together.
